Trisha Van Dusseldorp, PhD, CISSN, CSCS

Dr. VanDusseldorp is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Kennesaw State University (KSU). She earned her BS in Exercise Science from Southwest Minnesota State; MS in Human Performance – Applied Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse; and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of New Mexico. Trisha’s primary research focuses on supplementation and nutritional interventions in healthy and disease-state populations. Her secondary line of research is in autophagy. She is a Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. VanDusseldorp has authored over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and three book chapters in the area of sports nutrition and exercise science. She loves cycling, her dogs Willow (great dane) and Rosco (boxer), carbs, and coffee. Her favorite thing about academia is working with students.
