Bio For Conrad Earnest, PhD
Conrad Earnest is a former professional soccer player who holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology. He currently has published 142 journal articles, has 15 “in press," presented over 100 conference abstracts, holds a lifetime h-index of 49 and has been cited in the scientific literature over 7,000 times. Dr. Earnest takes an integrative approach to health, nutrition, and athletic performance by looking at various ways to bridge gaps between sport performance and disease states. Having been published in JAMA, Jama-Archives, Lancet Oncology, Diabetes Care and numerous sport/exercise related journals, he is also one of the most frequently published authors examining professional cyclists competing in the Grand tours of Cycling (Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a Espana). Recently moving back to the US from a professorship at the University of Bath (United Kingdom), Dr. Earnest is the current Director of Research for Nutrabolt International and holds a part-time graduate faculty appointment at Texas A&M University. Regardless of his scientific success, his greatest pleasure is derived from helping students progress their science careers. |
