Mike Greenwood, PhD, FACSM, FNSCA, FISSN

Mike Greenwood Ph.D., is currently a Full Clinical Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A & M University. In addition to a variety of graduate teaching and research responsibilities, Mike serves as a Research Associate for the authentic Exercise & Sport Nutrition Laboratory located at Research Park in College Station. Over the past 26 years, Mike has served as a Graduate Director for Exercise Physiology, Graduate Academic Director for Strength & Conditioning, Graduate Research Coordinator as well as the PhD Director primarily involved with the Institute for Exercise, Nutrition & Preventive Health. Mike is a Fellow of the International Society of Sport Nutrition [ISSN], National Strength & Conditioning Association [NSCA] and American College of Sport Medicine [ACSM]. Dr. Greenwood is certified as strength & conditioning specialist recognized with distinction by the NSCA and has previously served as a NCAA collegiate baseball/basketball coach as well as a strength training/conditioning professional. Mike is currently serving on the Advisory Board of ISSN and has served on the NSCA Certification Commission Executive Council and Education Committee. His primary lines of research are in the areas of sport/exercise nutrition and strength and conditioning. Dr. Greenwood serves on the Editorial Boards of the Strength and Conditioning Journal, Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition and has reviewed manuscripts for Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise as well as The Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research. In 2003, Mike received the Educator of The Year Award from the National Strength & Conditioning Association
