Mandatory Requirements

1. Current paying member of ISSN.
2. Must have the CISSN or SNS certification.  (Note: exceptions will be made for active ISSN members who have advanced degrees).
3. Have attended one of the ISSN National Conferences in the past 3 years.  If you can't make it to one ISSN National Conference every 3 years, you must earn CEUs online.  Go to this page for more information:  https://www.sportsnutritionsociety.org/CertificationsDetails.php?IDcert=11

If you want to be listed under 'Find a Sports Nutritionist' and you meet the the above three requirements, please email ISSN.sports.nutrition@gmail.com

Highly Recommended
These are criteria that if met, will greatly enhance your chances of being listed on the website.

1. Earned other certifications such as the CSCS.
2. 4-year degree in Exercise Science, Sports Nutrition or related field.
3. Five years or more experience in the sports nutrition field (e.g. writing for consumer magazines, consultation with sports teams/athletes, etc).
4. Masters or Doctorate level education.
5. Have presented at one of the ISSN conferences (regional or national).
6. Published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
7. Worked with the Advisory Board of the ISSN.
8. Have worked with ISSN in organization conferences/workshops etc.
